Clean we'll equipped gym. The staff are friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. Good selection of popular classes and membership is a fair and reasonable price. Highly recommended.
Haven't been a member that long, but prior to signing up here I was very unsure (and self conscious) of gyms in general. I'm now extremely glad I signed up. Everyone's made to feel welcome, it's a great atmosphere and I know if I have any questions the staff are more than happy to help. I've been enjoying it so much I've started using one of their personal trainers. They put me through my paces, and push me harder than I would do on my own.
Went into this gym today at 19.43 and found the following of real concern:- racist music playing extremely loudly and use of the N word. I found this highly offensive and was disgusted by the bad language being pumped through the gym.- disgusting music and I was shocked that the gym receptionist thought this was acceptable. He advised that this was the music they were told by the manager to play.- As soon as I got home I cancelled my membership immediately - pumping out racist words in a fitness environment or indeed any environment is wrong!!I was considering a corporate membership for my organisation as a few hundered people would be working in the area-absolutely NOT now. My advice to anyone reading this is avoid this gym at all costs.
I had my doubts about the this gym but thought I would give it the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately my fears were confirmed. Dark and moody lightingand aggressive gangster rap music with racist language and swearing playing which was too loud. some people may not find this offensive but I did. with a dark unfriendly atmosphere on entrance This seemed more geared up to a hoodlum gym than a friendly community gym. I used to come here before when it was FW FItness which had a positive healthy message to get fit with a friendly vibe, I felt annoyed and frustrated by the music and a testerone charged atmosphere which for me is not sending a good message out at all. I am all for progress and giving people a chance but this place is not for me and unfortunately you only get one chance to make a first impression so I will not be returning. You need to take in to consideration that you client base will be of all ages and not just 20 yr old men and as I am 50 but not dead and boring by any means!! I did not feel welcome here at all.
Started at this gym as it's only down the road for me, it's nice and quiet in there. Don't have the typical gym head people that go in and make loads of noise aswell. Helpful staff, brilliant gym overall
